Elizabeth Cady Stanton

(1815–1902) was an American social activist and a leading figure in the early women’s rights movement. She played a key role in organizing the Seneca Falls Convention in 1848, which marked the beginning of the organized fight for women’s suffrage in the United States. Stanton advocated for equal rights in education, employment, and law. Her writings and speeches challenged traditional gender roles and inspired generations of activists.
