Pythagoras

(c. 570–495 BCE) was an ancient Greek philosopher and mathematician best known for the Pythagorean theorem. His work laid the foundation for mathematics, geometry, and philosophical thought. Pythagoras also founded a school that combined science, mathematics, and spirituality. His teachings influenced later philosophers and scientific development.
