Albert Schweitzer
(1875–1965) was a German-French philosopher, theologian, physician, and humanitarian known for his philosophy of ‘Reverence for Life.’ He dedicated much of his life to serving as a medical missionary in Africa, where he established a hospital in Gabon. Schweitzer was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1952 for his humanitarian efforts and ethical philosophy. His work combined intellectual rigor with deep compassion, emphasizing respect for all living beings. In addition to his medical and philosophical contributions, he was also an accomplished musician and scholar of Johann Sebastian Bach.
